Couch grass (Cynodon dactylon) Native to Africa, couch grass is very common throughout a wide range of climatic zones around the world. It can be found in many different parts of Australia, especially in coastal areas.
Couch Grass Lawn Care Tips Once established encourage good root growth for stronger, healthier plants by giving lawns a thorough soaking every 3-4 days, rather than regular light waterings, couch grass will generally germinate faster but is more expensive. It is very drought tolerant but still can stand flooding for short periods.
